PONTIAC, Mich. – In their first meeting ever with Rochester College (Mich.), the NO. 9 Lawrence Technological University women's team cruised past the Warriors 23-1, including posting a second half shut out and 11 different Blue Devils scoring.
In the first ten minutes of play, the Blue Devils (4-6, 3-0) got up by seven goals before slowing down and controlling the pace of the game. They then grabbed a running clock with nine minutes left of the half and closed their first 30 minutes of the game ahead 13-1.
Lawrence Tech then took the second half to move the ball around and limit their turnovers to only two. All but two Blue Devils found the back of the net, including Brooke Hepditch, Maddie Barnewold and Jordan Messing, all defenders, scoring for the first time this season.

Larkin led the team with eight draw controls out of the 17 won by LTU. In net, Dorie Coggin received the win with four saves on five shots.
