Lawrence Tech Women's Lacrosse Team Named One of Five NAIA Teams Honored with ZAG Sports Academic Honor Squad Award
July 30, 2019The IWLCA, the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association, announced its annual ZAG Sports Academic Honor Squad lists this past week for the 2019 season. This list includes teams from NCAA Division I, II, and III as well as the NAIA. To qualify, a team must have a 3.0 GPA or higher for the 2018-19 academic year. The Lawrence Technological University women’s lacrosse team was one of the 312 teams to achieve this honor. -
Women's Lacrosse Announces Class of 2023 Recruiting Class
May 15, 2019With another national invite berth under their belt, the Lawrence Technological University women’s lacrosse team announces their 2019 recruiting class. With a range of abilities for the five recruits, Katelyn Waligora, Phoebe Xiao Chan Sawicki, Jaisanna Jarvis, Gabi Mitchell and Sydney Lincoln make up the incoming Freshmen of the Class of 2023 for Women's Lacrosse. -
Women's Lacrosse Holds 7th Spot in Last Coaches' Top 10 Poll of 2019
May 15, 2019KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Following a 10-8 season, The Lawrence Technological University women’s lacrosse team maintained their 7th overall place from the last Coaches' Top 10 Poll into the post season final rating of the season. The Blue Devils received 69 points in the final poll of the 2019 season. -
NAIA Announces 2019 Daktronics Men's and Women's Lacrosse Scholar Athletes; Nuler, Gagnon and Schlueter Make the List
May 10, 2019GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Following a completion of both of their 2019 campaigns in the first round of NAIA Nationals, three Blue Devils, one from the men’s program and two from the women’s were named to the 2019 Daktronics NAIA Scholar Athlete. Alex Schlueter was one of 35 student-athletes from the men’s side to make the list. Anna Gagnon and Katja Nuler were among 63 student-athletes to be named. -

Women's Lacrosse Qualifies for NAIA National Invitational with At-Large Bid; Moves up to 7th in the Nation with Last Coaches' Top 10 Poll of Season
April 28, 2019KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NAIA has announced the qualifying teams for the 2019 women’s lacrosse National Invitational. The Lawrence Technological University women’s team got an At-Large bid this year after narrowly falling to Indiana Tech on Saturday 14-11. The invite will be held at Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan from May 8th to the championship day that will be held on May 11th. Along with this, the last Top 10 Coaches’ poll of the season was released, with the Blue Devils moving up a spot, going from 8th overall to 7th. -

Anna Gagnon and Abby Barnewold Named WHAC Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year; Five Named to All-WHAC First Team while Three Earned Second Team Honors
April 27, 2019SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – Anna Gagnon and Abby Barnewold were named Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year following an 8-1 campaign in conference play, the conference office announced on Saturday. Gagnon becomes the third straight Blue Devil to take home Offensive Player of the Year honors, joining Kadijah Kalo and Isabelle Vickers. -

Following the quarter final game between Concordia University Ann Arbor and Cleary, with Cleary narrowly coming out on top with a 17-16 win, the Blue Devils will play the Cougars at 5 p.m. at Farmington Hills Harrison. -

Ashley Sherry picked up the Offensive Player of the Week accolade after a 24 point week from three wins against WHAC opponents, including upset win against NO.9 Concordia University - Ann Arbor. -

March 23, 2019FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. - The Lawrence Technological University women's lacrosse team battled against WHAC opponent Siena Heights University (Mich.) and came out on top with a 13-10 win on Saturday, March 23rd. For both the Saints and the Blue Devils, this game marked the first game against a WHAC team, preparing them for a conference heavy end to their seasons before heading into championship play. -
Blue Devils Grab First Win of the Season Against Ave Maria
