  • PLAYOFF PREVIEW: Women's Lacrosse Prepares for Cleary Cougars in Semifinals, Draws Two Seed for WHAC Tournament

    With only one loss to a WHAC opponent this season, the Lawrence Technological University women's lacrosse team secured the NO. 2 seed in the conference, resulting in a bye for the first round of the WHAC play offs. Following the quarter final game between Concordia University Ann Arbor and Cleary, with Cleary narrowly coming out on top with a 17-16 win, the Blue Devils will play the Cougars at 5 p.m. at Farmington Hills Harrison.

    GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Lawrence Technological University women’s lacrosse team concluded their regular season stand in a 19-2 dominate win against Aquinas College on Wednesday, April 17th. Leading them was Anna Gagnon with seven goals and four assists. The Blue Devils now await for the WHAC seating for the conference playoffs.

The first is a home game against new to the WHAC Bethel (Ind.) on Wednesday at Ultimate Sports Arena in Wixom, Mich. where the draw is set to go up at 2:45 p.m. Then, on the road, the Blue Devils play NO. 4 Indiana Tech on Saturday, April 13 at 1 p.m.

    FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. - The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) announced their women's lacrosse weekly honors for offensive and defensive player of the week on April 8th, 2019. Ashley Sherry picked up the Offensive Player of the Week accolade after a 24 point week from three wins against WHAC opponents, including upset win against NO.9 Concordia University - Ann Arbor.

    FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – Moving to 5-0 in the WHAC, the Lawrence Technological University women’s lacrosse team defeated Cleary University (Mich.) 22-4 on Friday. Up next for the Blue Devils, they play Madonna University at home on Saturday, April 6th at home. This game will also serve as their senior day, recognizing Jordan Messing and Maddie Barnewold for their contributions to the program.

They start their week off hosting (RV) Lourdes University (Ohio) on Wednesday March 27 at Farmington Hills Harrison High School where the draw is set to go up at 4 p.m. Their week concludes on the road against newly added WHAC member and lacrosse team Rochester College (Mich.) on March 30th at an indoor field in Pontiac, Mich.

    FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. - The Lawrence Technological University women's lacrosse team battled against WHAC opponent Siena Heights University (Mich.) and came out on top with a 13-10 win on Saturday, March 23rd. For both the Saints and the Blue Devils, this game marked the first game against a WHAC team, preparing them for a conference heavy end to their seasons before heading into championship play.

    SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – Following an impressive 2017-2018 campaign that ended in semifinals at the NAIA National Invitational Tournament, the Lawrence Technological (Mich.) University women's lacrosse team announces their 2018-2019 schedule as their spring season commences. Behind Mary Ann Meltzer who enters her fourth year as head coach and recently graduated 3x All American LTU alum Ashley Collins, the team has a difficult schedule once again to prepare them for the offseason.
