NEWTON, Kan.- The Lawrence Technological (Mich.) University women's golf team closed the fall 2019 season with a third-place performance at the Tabor College Fall Invite after posting a two-round score of 710 (347-363). Bethany (Kan.) College took the tournament with a 674 (332-342), while Missouri Sothern State University rounded out the top three with a 691 (334-357).
Mansa Potluri led the way for the Blue Devils as she garnered All-Tournament honors after posting a 170 (84-86). The Canton, Mich. native tied in fourth place and finished seven shots short of individual champion Savannah Pinson from Bethany College. Rachel Kristian followed with an 11th-place performance after carding a 177 (87-90), while Lauren Hartline finished 14th with a 183 (91-92). Julia LeFere and Sara Davis tied in 15th place with a two-round score of 186. Davis shot a career-plow 85 on the first round of the tournament.
The Blue Devils will be back in action on March 12 at the LTU Spring Break Invitational in Opelika, Ala. at the Lake Course of Grand National GC.
