LTU leads both all-times series, 12-1 against the Wolverines and 10-3 versus the Gray Wolves. These games will be the second time the Blue Devils face off with both rivals so far this season. On December 5, Lawrence Tech upset Michigan, 76-67, and defeated the Gray Wolves, 58-56, on January 5.
Lawrence Tech (17-7, 9-5) leads the nation in defense scoring per game, by allowing just 51.9 points per contest, and sits third for defense field goal percentage, 0.34. Through 24 games, LTU has shot 41.8 percent from the field, 35.5 percent from beyond the arc, and 71.5 percent from the line. In addition, the Blue Devils post an average of 70.6 points per outing.
Senior Guard Nicole Buckingham paces the team and the conference with 16.7 points per game. In addition, she sits second in the WHAC and sixth in the NAIA for total rebounds, 229. Buckingham has also registered 11 double-doubles so far this season. Other players that have recorded at least a double-double through these 24 games are Hope Dollarhide, Danielle Hanson, and Alex Ruster. Cherilyn Banas leads the Blue Devils with an average of 3.5 helpers per game, while Rachel Price is the player with most blocks, 42.
University of Michigan (19-4, 11-3) has shot 38.9 percent from the field, 28.4 percent from deep, and 68.7 percent from the charity stripe. Sade Lemons paces the Wolverines with 13.3 points per game. Cydney Williams leads the team with 154 rebounds and 35 blocks, while Ro'Zhane Wells averages 3.8 assists per game and 2 steals per outing.
Through 23 games, Lourdes (9-14, 4-10) has shot 40.1 percent from the field, 31 percent from three-point land, and 69.2 percent from the line. Sydney Miller leads the squad with 9.1 points per game, while Jami Hardy paces the Gray Wolves with 113 boards.
