Following a back and forth weekend against Rochester College (Mich.), where the Lawrence Technological University Blue Devils fell on the road 1-5 to the Warriors and then came back home to Farmington Hills, reversing the score with a 5-1 win, LTU welcomes Concordia Ann Arbor (Mich.) back to their rink to face them for third and forth time this season.
In their last meetings, the Blue Devils (3-1-0, 3-1-0) sweeped both games against the Cardinals. To open their season, they won at home 5-3 and then beat the same team again 6-2. Leading the team this season is Sean Pilet who has five points from four assists and one goal. In the goal category, Brenden Preiss, Blake Heier and John Horn have two goals. So far, two goalies have been seen between the pipes, both being new faces to the LTU program. Christain Kazoleas has 44 saves this season while Spencer Krul has 30.
The Cardinals (1-6-0) are fresh off a 10-0 loss to the University of Michigan Dearborn last week. They are led by Thomas Hendry who has nine points this season from five goals and four assists.
The game at home is set to start at 9:00 p.m. tonight, Friday, October 18th. On Saturday, October 19th, the Blue Devils will play on the road where the puck is set to drop at 8:30 p.m.
